NISHVILLE JAZZ FESTIVAL

The International Nishville Jazz Festival - the most visited jazz festival in Southeast Europe, has been consistently defending the European values of multiculturalism for years and patiently nurturing the musical taste of individuals. Confirmation of this is the large text "Nishville - The European Face of Serbia" ("Nishville - The European Face of Serbia") published in the European Union, the magazine "New Europe", which is published in Brussels.

The festival is held during August on the plateau of Nis Fortress.

 

BEER FEST

The Belgrade Beer Festival is one of the most visited festivals, both in Serbia and in the whole of Southeast Europe. it is visited annually by an average of 500,000 people, with a record 2010 and 900,000 visitors. It was created in 2003 and is held every year in August.

 

LOVEFEST

Lovefest is a unique cultural platform from Vrnjačka Banja, which promotes music, art and urban culture of young people in Serbia. The festival was created in 2007, and from a city party held that summer, it grew into a music party in just one year, and today it is the largest youth festival in central Serbia. At the beginning of 2012, the festival received recognition from the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the largest youth festival in the country, and a year later it was nominated for the best European festival for the first time.

It is held every year in early August.

 

EXIT NOVI SAD

It quickly grew into a more recognized music festival, both in the region and across Europe. This is partly due to the environment in which it is maintained, a picturesque fortress from the 18th century, which is located on a hill above the Danube.

 

NISOMNIA

Nisomnia is a traditional Nis music festival, which takes place in the picturesque Nis fortress at the end of June.

 

BARBECUE LESKOVAC

BARBECUE LESKOVAC from the idea of organizing a gastronomic festival in the city of barbecue, which originated back in 1965, to the realization. A quarter of a century has passed since the first barbecue in 1990. In the coming years, this event will become the biggest gastronomic event

It is held every year in late August.

 

TUCIJADA

Easter festivities are held every year in Mokrin on Good Friday, Good Saturday and Easter. The rich accompanying program makes this event attractive not only for the residents of the municipality but also for the guests.

Within the program of Easter festivities, which are traditionally organized in Mokrin, a special place is occupied by the world championship in beating with painted Easter eggs. Those who think that their boiled egg is the hardest gather, and according to the elimination system, they reach the finals.

 

VRNJACKA BANJA SPA CARNIVAL

The Vrnjačka banja Spa Carnival, along with Guča and Exit, is the largest tourist event in Serbia and certainly represents the crown of events during the season. This event gathered over 20,000 visitors and a large number of carnival groups from around the world.

It is held every year in mid-July.

 

DRINA REGATTA

The Drina regatta is the oldest and most massive manifestation on the river Drina, which has been organized in Bajina Basta for a quarter of a century.

This unique carnival on the water, along with a large number of other diverse events, is one of the largest tourist events in Serbia and the largest event on the water in this part of Europe. . It is held every year in July.

 

HAPPY DESCENT

Happy descent is the oldest and happiest descent on the waters of Serbia. From the medieval town of Maglić to Kraljevo, on 25 km of the winding Ibar, over 10,000 well-disposed downhill skiers take part in the happiest procession on the waters of Serbia.

You have the opportunity to join them every year in July.

 

JUST OUT MANASIJA

It is held in August in the magnificent monastery of Manasija in memory of 600 years since Despot Stefan Lazarevic built one of the most beautiful medieval buildings with the Church of the Holy Trinity, 139 machetes and 11 towers.

The hosts of the event are the White Eagles, knights from Serbia, who host comrades from more than twenty countries every year.

 

MEDIEVAL WEDDING KRUŠEVAC

In the complex of Lazar's town in Kruševac, as part of knightly ceremonies, a wedding is being held on the model of a medieval Serbian nobleman.

After the wedding, the next day will be knights' competitions and tournaments, which traditionally gather numerous participants and guests from all over Serbia.

 

INTERNATIONAL BALLOON FESTIVAL KRUSEVAC

In the Park on Bagdala, the International Balloon Festival called KRUSEVAC THROUGH THE CLOUDS is being held. The organizer is the Tourist Organization and under the auspices of the City of Krusevac, and the festival is held every year in late June and early July.

 

PRŠUTIJADA MAČKAT

The prosciutto festival is traditionally held in the village of Mačkat, which is located between Užice and Zlatibor, and has had the status of a national event for 17 years.

Domestic prosciutto is probably one of the most recognizable products in Serbia, and thanks to the nature and environment in which it is produced, it is something of the most beautiful that mountain landscapes, canyons and rivers offer.
