DAY 1: BELGRADE

Passagners’ arrival.

Accommodation in a 3-star hotel.

Depending on the time of arrival:

Panoramic sightseeing of the city.

Leisure time.

Optional excursion: “The power of thought, the power of the spirit, the power of authority” – excursion to the Museum of Nikola Tesla, Temple of St. Sava and the House of Flowers, the mausoleum and resting place of Josip Broz Tito.

Dinner.

Leisure time.

DAY 2: BELGRADE - VIMINACIUM - RAM - SILVER LAKE - GOLUBAC- LEPENSKI VIR - BELGRADE

Breakfast time.

An archeological tour of the prehistoric and ancient heritage, the Roman period, along the banks of the Danube River.

A visit to an impressive museum near Kostolac, on the site of the ancient Viminacium.

A tour of the medieval Ram Fortress, which has a fantastic view of the Danube.

A visit to the Silver Lake.

Lunch – optional (the price of a full meal with local specialties is about 15 euros per person).

Continuing the drive on the road to Golubac, a medieval, 4 km-wide fortress with a picturesque view of the Danube.

Continuing the journey through one of Europe’s longest and largest gorges, the Đerdap Gorge.

A visit to a modern and impressive museum in Lepenski Vir, a site dating from the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods.

Return to Belgrade.

Dinner.

Leisure time.

Overnight stay.

DAY 3: BELGRADE - SREMSKI KARLOVCI - NOVI SAD

Breakfast.

Leaving the rooms.

Passangers’ departure to Sremski Karlovci.

A tour of Sremski Karlovci, the center of Serbian spirituality and culture during the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire – a tour of the Upper Church and the St. Nicholas Cathedral Church, the Fountain “Four Lions”, the First Serbian Gymnasium, the Serbian Orthodox Church Museum, the Patriarchate’s Palace, the Chapel of Peace.

Optional – wine tasting in the Bajilo wine cellar.

Lunch – optional, at the Restoran Dunav (Danube Restaurant) on the Danube shore, serving excellent fish specialties (about 15 € per person).

Departure for Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia and an important cultural, artistic and historical center, as well as the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina.

Accommodation in a 3-star hotel.

A tour of the Petrovaradin Fortress.
